Art-at-the-Cathedral166 Market Street Hours: Art-at-the-Cathedral celebrates the visual arts in Christ Church Cathedral, a historic house of worship established in 1796. Gallery Hop receptions are held in the garden in September and June and in the Great Hall in November, February and April. Living Arts & Science Center Gallery362 North Martin Luther King Blvd. Hours: The Living Arts & Science Center (LASC) provides exhibitions of exceptional quality and artistic merit. The LASC is also dedicated to offering innovative emerging and established artists opportunities to develop their creative potential while affording valuable exposure. On Gallery Hop nights, the Gallery provides a corridor between Market and Mill Street. University of Kentucky Art MuseumSingletary Center for the Arts, Rose Street and Euclid Avenue Hours: Accredited by the American Association of Museums and the second largest art museum in Kentucky, the UK Art Museum collects, preserves, studies and exhibits the best of humanity's artistic heritage. The museum maintains a growing permanent collection of more than 3,900 European and American paintings, sculpture, prints, drawings, photographs and decorative arts. Morlan Gallery at Transylvania University300 North Broadway Hours: Located in the Mitchell Fine Arts Center on Transylvania university's historic downtown campus, the Morlan Gallery features six to seven exhibitions September through May. With special emphasis on contemporary art, the gallery draws works in a variety of media including video, sculpture, painting, prints, mixed media, installation and performance - from local, regional and international artists. City Gallery at the Downtown Arts CenterDowntown Arts Center (DAC), 2nd Floor Hours: The City Gallery is located on the second floor of the DAC, one of the premier performance spaces in Lexington. The City Gallery presents public art projects on the horizon for Lexington. Carnegie Center for Literacy and Learning251 West Second Street Hours: The Carnegie Center offers learning programs for all ages and abilities in reading, writing, language and computer literacy workshops as well as artistic, musical, dramatic and literary events. the Laurie S. Bottoms Gallery enriches the visual literacy of the community by featuring works by artists of all ages and abilities. Sisohpromatem Art Foundation651 A West Short Street Hours: SIS-OH-PRO-MATE-M is the word "metamorphosis" spelled
in reverse. Their mission is to help children develop
into independent, creative, responsible members of the community
through participation in the arts. Hop evenings are all action:
live artist performances and impromptu art, music, poetry and song
making by inspired Hop guests. Adults and children alike enjoy
the energy and welcoming atmosphere. Central Library Gallery140 East Main Street Hours: The Central Library Gallery is located in the Central Branch of the Lexington Public Library and features exhibits by local, regional, national and international artists. Hours:
Tu - Sa 10am - 5pm Su 10am - 4pm The Ann Tower Gallery specializes in the exhibition
and sale of contemporary fine art and folk art. The gallery represents
the work of 30 regionally, nationally and internationally known artists.
They offer a variety of media including paintings, ceramics, sculpture
and photography. The gallery is located on two floors of the beautifully
renovated Downtown Arts Center (DAC).

Mon - Fri 10am - 4pm HEIKE PICKETT GALLERY AT CMW in Lexington, the gallery's
satellite location, programs fine art exhibitions year-round. It offers
a broad range of challenging solo and invitational group exhibitions
with regional, national and international artists. Openings coincide
with Lexington Gallery Hop dates.

the edge of Gratz Park, Clark Art & antiques represents fifteen
artists from Kentucky and around the nation. These artists have
created beautiful, inspiring, handmade and just plain fun pieces for
all to enjoy. The artists work in ceramics, glass, sculpture,
jewely, paint, mixed-media and their imaginations. They are the
largest buyer and seller in the country of original Paul Sawyer paintings
and present an annual sale of his works in September.

makes the rounds to art schools and galleries to see which new artists
are making their marks. You may like it, you may not, but at Balatro
buying is done with a lot of enthusiasm. It is with this enthusiasm
that they introduce their new finds created by "boomer" artists
which lend the gallery a decidedly more contemporary look.

original work created by local artists. Works include sculpture,
glass, clay, wood, metal, oil, fiber, silk, watercolor, photography,

Contemporary British Figurative Painting since 1974. With an international
following, Cross Gate hosts exhibitions not only in Lexington but around
the counrty and overseas. Featuring local and international artists,
both 19th Centruy and contemporary, they have developed a
wide range of artwork to suit different palates.
